William "Will" McBride
William “Will” McBride is an accomplished Colorado trial attorney, small business owner, and community philanthropist who has fought for justice inside and outside the courtroom for over 21 years. As the son of a migrant worker, McBride has earned the American dream through hard work, obtaining a BA from Florida State University, an MBA from the University of Florida, an MDiv from the Southern Baptist Seminary, and a JD from Pepperdine University.Â
Before attending law school, Will taught and coached football in public schools. As a public-school teacher, he saw firsthand the needs of students, teachers, and faculty. Will believes teachers and faculty must be supported as they invest in our children’s future. He supports increasing pay for our educators and improving school safety policies and resources.Â
In 2003, Will founded the William McBride Law Group, P.A., to serve the legal needs of his community. After representing a family who had lost a teenage son who was tragically killed by a drunk driver while riding his skateboard on the sidewalk, Will focused his law practice in representing people who had suffered injuries and death because of the negligence of others. The biggest surprise for Will early in his career was how often insurance companies would deny, delay, and hope Will’s clients would go away when seeking just compensation. The fight for justice turned from negotiating claims to taking cases to jury trials. Will is licensed to practice law in 11 states, including Colorado and has successfully won jury trials in Colorado, Florida, New Mexico, Texas, and Washington. He is one of the few trial attorneys who has won excess verdicts and collected more than the policy limits. Will has heard a lot of attorney jokes. But it's not a joking matter when someone is seriously hurt and needs someone to fight for justice. His proven trial record gives his clients the best chance to recover what justice requires. Out of the 20,000 plus attorneys in Colorado, less than 200 attorneys are invited for membership into the American Board of Trial Advocates, Will was honored to be selected by his peers for membership into this prestigious trial group. In addition, Will has earned membership in the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum whose slogan is “The Top Trial Lawyers in America,” and has been listed in America’s Top 50 Lawyers for Colorado.
Will enjoys hiking, fishing, hunting, skiing, snowboarding, camping, and playing the piano and guitar. He resides in Lone Tree with his wife, Jessica. They have three young children at home and three young men in college.
